Once again we have found ourselves in the middle of pure mayhem also known as New York Fashion Week. This year was no exception! We got to work with incredible up and coming designer Cho Cho Cheng and the fashion icon Vivienne Tam for their Fall 2017 collections. 

CHOCHENG

"Cho Cho's show was a presentation rather than a typical runway show. The models were in their places while the public was able to walk around and look at the clothing details and of course the manicure!  Cho Cho wanted the nails to reflect the era of the 40's Hollywood glam so we ended up using tips that we filed to an oval shape and used Admired from our Empower Collection. Topped off with Maxus Top Coat for an added shine. The end result looked stunning against the set design and the theme of the collection."            

VIVIENNE TAM 

 "Vivienne's Autumn/Winter 2017 collection was all about the city of lights. The collection was inspired by the electrifying energy of Hong Kong life and its 20th anniversary. The clothing was full of bright colors and metallics, it reminded us of the 80s! Greatest era ever! Since we did not want to take the attention away from the clothing, we ended up doing something completely different by giving the models pampering manicures. Since their nails go through such a rough period during Fashion Week, we made sure to use oils and buff and clean the nails to bring them back to their natural strong state. The end result was a beautiful clean nail and a bunch of very happy models!"
